Everything old IS new again. People use<br \/>\nthe term &#8216;newsreader&#8217; when they talk about RSS feeds. Last time we<br \/>\nheard about newsreaders, <a href=\"http:\/\/mtechit.com\/linux-biz\/dejanews.html\">Deja News<\/a> still archived <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Newsgroups\">newsgroups<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>If I close my eyes and listen to talk of RSS ad opportunities, I think it&#8217;s 1995 (?) and I&#8217;m listening to <a href=\"http:\/\/64.233.161.104\/search?q=cache:NfEtnx3HeXAJ:www.ezineuniversity.com\/courses\/ez701\/701-03.html+Phil+Tanny&amp;hl=en&amp;client=firefox-a\">Phil Tanny<\/a> of OakNetPub.com or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netpreneur.org\/events\/doughnets\/990923\/bios.html\">Ros Resnick<\/a> talking&#8230;&nbsp; When I hear the talk of &#8216;citizen journalism&#8217;, I think back to the earlier days of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rheingold.com\/vc\/book\/\">community building<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s just hope that CEOs don&#8217;t start talking about &#8216;monetizing members&#8217; to soon&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>===========<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/chris.pirillo.com\/\">Chris Pirillo<\/a> likes <a href=\"http:\/\/searchwebservices.techtarget.com\/sDefinition\/0,,sid26_gci813358,00.html\">RSS<\/a>.
