I remember this article well, it actually spawned a ride-along web site: <a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/19980131191045\/http:\/\/www.brandyou.com\/\">brandyou.com<\/a>.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>One of the notions was that smart companies let employees build their own brand, knowing that the company would also benefit. I worked <a href=\"http:\/\/venturephilanthropypartners.org\/about\/people\/tbios\/morino.html\">for a man<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/netpreneur.org\/\">organization<\/a> that subscribed to the <em>brandyou<\/em> notion that is actually <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/magazine\/10\/entreprules.html\">profiled<\/a> in this same issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/\">Fast Company<\/a>.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I wonder if there are companies that (still) subscriber to the <em>brandyou<\/em> notion? Maybe the ultimate lesson learned was about employee blogging? Isn&#8217;t that one of the take-aways from <a href=\"http:\/\/scoble.weblogs.com\/\">Scoble<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www-128.ibm.com\/developerworks\/blogs\/index.jspa\">and others<\/a> that have given their employers a &#8216;voice&#8217;?&nbsp; <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Diva Marketing&#8217;s&nbsp;recent musings bring back good memories (and, not only of on-line dating).
